We are presenting "SAMAH" by Dia Al Succari, a Syrian composer from my beloved injured city Aleppo, who sadly been having clashes between what they are calling recnetely by the West and East areas in Aleppo. Here is a unique example when the Syrian composer combines the famous Arabic mid-Eastern tune of "Lamma bada Yatathanna" with Western French Harmonization. I would love for such combination to be happening in my home city Aleppo !
I very much hope that this music will cross many borders around the world, as french compositions by Debussy and Messian did!
