A simple comparison of two .45 Colt single action revolvers, the Ruger New Vaquero vs Taylor’s & Co. Uberti 1873 Cattleman II. The New Vaquero has a transfer bar mechanism and loading gate interlock while the Cattleman II does not. Dimensions are a bit different though weight may be similar. Also, the New Vaquero has a second cylinder in .45 ACP as it is convertible while the Cattleman II does not. The Cattleman II has a very fine antiqued finish giving the gun and grips a great weathered look.
