Plimiri is approximately 85km from Rhodes Town at Cape Vigla, near to the part of Rhodes. It is a quiet, sandy bay with a small fisherman's harbour and a lovely taverna. Plimiri is where you can find Giannoula K a 110m cargo ship wreck. Built in the Netherlands, Giannoula K went through several owners before sinking in 1981 after some bad weather in Plimiri bay. Lying at a maximum depth of 22m and still mostly intact this is a fabulous wreck dive. We dive the Giannoula K every Sunday meeting in the car park by the bay at 10 am. Transfers are available from Rhodes Town for an additional fee. Due to the depth and level of difficulty divers are required to first dive one of our shallower sites.
