Top 10 MORE Power Crept Cards That Still See Competitive Play

In a game as old as Yu-Gi-Oh power creep is an expected inevitability with cards that once broke the game suddenly being a lot tamer when compared to modern options that seem to do everything they did and more.

But sometimes you just can’t beat the classics - Because despite being weaker on the surface, these cards still have a ton of merit that allow them to fill a particular niche in a metagame that even their modern variants struggle to compete with, something that we learned about three years ago on the last list we did covering this topic.

Since then, even crazier cards have entered the game but we’re still seeing some old favorites, which is why today we’re going to look at some more of the game’s power crept cards, the options that eclipsed them in playability and why these supposedly worse choices are still useful and sometimes even preferable to their stronger versions.
