Shielded cable is used for many 'mission critical' ECU inputs like engine speed, engine position and cam position where a signal issue can cause minor issues to major engine failure. By nature shielded cable requires a different approach when it comes to splicing, and in this motorsport wiring lesson Andre is going to give you some insight into one of the processes he follows that does this in a tidy, compact and reliable manner.
