Surah an-Naba recited in maqam sika. I recorded this for my students to practice with so I've intentionally kept it simple especially at the beginning of the surah.

For context: normally this type of exercise (listen and repeat) comes after I teach students the structure and patterns for the maqam. If you jump ahead and just try to listen and imitate, what often happens is you’re sort of guessing - you’re not entirely sure how exactly you’re supposed to be going up and down in pitch, and if it doesn’t quite sound in tune, you might not be entirely sure why.
