We met up with Make a Wish at Comic Con to see how they’re making the dreams of these real-life heroes come true!

At San Diego Comic Con 2019, we met thousands of fans who descended upon SDCC 2019 to bask in the Comic Con cosplay and chaos of San Dieog Comic-Con 2019. But there was a certain group of fans who touched our hearts: the Make a Wish kids who were there courtesy of the Make a Wish Foundation. Make-a-Wish is bringing joy to the lives of thousands of wish kids, and San Diego Comic-Con was no different.

Make a Wish granted the wishes of these kids to come to Make a Wish Comic Con and experience their own Make a Wish story. Make-a-Wish granted these kids the chance to meet celebrities, like Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld, and cosplay as their favorite characters from Naruto, Undertale, Persona, Toy Story and more. For any cosplayer, SDCC is a dream come true, and thanks to the Make-a-Wish foundation, these kids got to experience Comic Con up close and personal. MakeaWish is changing lives and giving strength to heroic kids in the fight of their lives, and judging from how they enjoyed San Diego Comic Con, it’s making a huge difference.
