Disney Cruise On Disney Wish! Castaway Cay & Pirate Night!

Day3 of our Disney Cruise aboard, the Disney Wish is here! On today's adventure, we get off the Disney Wish and go ashore to Disney's Castaway Cay! Castaway Cay is one of our most favorite places on earth and this is one place that we really like to go to every time we go to Disney cruise if the itinerary allows.

We start off the day by doing a little shopping and then we had to do some snorkeling. Before snorkeling we were able to drop the younger kids off at Scuttle’s Cove! I am so glad that Disney put something like that in place so the older kids/parents to go and have some fun as well.

Snorkeling at Castaway Cay is one of my favorite things to do! However, one of our traditions is that we always see something new as far as sea life goes. Every single time we go there's always been some new sea creature that we haven’t seen, and this time was no different. We are actually able to see a small school of cuttlefish!

From snorkeling, we head over to cookies barbecue and enjoy a wonderful lunch. One of the highlights of this lunch was the ribs! I've had the ribs for, but they've always seem to be dried out. This time not so! The jerk ribs were very good and juicy! And you know me, I had to make an ice cream sandwich out of their cookies!
We decide to head back to the ship after lunch so we can clean up and get ready for pirate night! As we were leaving castaway, cay, we sit out on the balcony and listen to the horn blast! We love the new Disney wishes, horn blast!
We didn’t make our way up to the pool deck and enjoy a pirate party! This is where Mickey and the others join and have a lot of fun, singing songs, and having a cool little dance party!

From there we head over to the kid's clubs and drop the kids off while Emily and I had to hyper space lounge! We were able to try a few drinks and boy did this place not disappoint! We are diehard Star Wars fans and loved everything about this place!

After hyperspace lounge, we make our way back up to the pool deck and enjoy the firework show! This firework shows different in the regards that it was kind of like a rock concert! They were able to play a lot of classic rock songs, and they also had some traditional pirate, music, mixed with rock music, and then they shut the fireworks up with that kind of music going to, so it was a brand new experience for all of us.

That about wrapped up our night, and we had so much fun aboard the Disney wish today! Castaway cay again, is one of our most favorite places, and we would be happy to go back on any of our Disney cruises!
