You’ll start by feeling the gentle, natural sounds of us picking bananas at my aunt’s place, the soft rustling of leaves, and the quiet footsteps as we gather what we need.

As we move to the kitchen, the ASMR experience unfolds piece by piece. You’ll hear the rhythmic pounding of rice flour, each tap and sift offering those soothing, tingly notes. Then the day slowly turns to evening, and the entire atmosphere shifts to that calm, night-time serenity. You’ll listen to the subtle night sounds as we prepare the pittu over a gentle flame, the steam rising and the fire crackling softly in the background.

But that’s not all. You’ll be immersed in the rich ASMR layers of making a soya meat and potato curry ahead of time, hearing the satisfying chop of onions and green chilies, the gentle bubbling of spices melding into the TVP. All those sounds will set the stage for the night.

As we finish our pittu, the nighttime meal becomes a cozy family moment with my brother and grandmother. And the next day, we transform that pittu into a dessert, all while the soothing sound of rain adds another layer of relaxation. You’ll hear the raindrops as we create a completely new ASMR experience, mixing and serving up a sweet delight.
