This week, Kenta and Laura performed a Japanese cover of "10,000 Reasons" by Matt Redman.

Kenta: “God created us to worship Him, to glorify Him, and to enjoy His wonderful creation. We are called to lift up His holy name. Yet, as we live in this world, we see so much brokenness. Sometimes our minds become overwhelmed by the negativity and sin around us, and we struggle to find reasons to worship God. But let us remember: He is the Creator of this world, the Maker of the universe, and He has conquered sin. Even when it seems like there’s nothing to praise Him for, God is at work—doing good behind the scenes where we cannot see. His name is always worthy of our praise.”

「私たちは神を礼拝するためにつくられました。神の栄光を現し、神の素晴らしい創造を楽しみ、その聖なる御名をたたえるために存在します。けれども、私たちがこの世に生きる中で、多くの壊れた現実を目にします。時には、世の中のネガティブなことや罪によって心がいっぱいになり、神を礼拝する理由が見いだせなくなることもあります。
しかし、思い出しましょう。神はこの世界の創造主であり、宇宙の造り主であり、そして罪に打ち勝たれた方です。たとえ神を賛美できる理由が見えないような時でも、神は私たちの見えないところで多くの良いことをしておられます。だからこそ、神の御名はいつも賛美に値するのです。」
