Sangeeta Siksha Peetam presents SANGEET AMRTAM 2023 concerts as part of its 6th Birthday celebrations. We begin the series this evening with a concert by Smt. Hamsa Nagarajan (Murali)
Meet Hamsa Nagarajan 😊
Hamsa Nagarajan is a young vocalist making a mark in the world of Carnatic music. She started learning music at the age of five. She is currently a disciple of Sangita Kalanidhi Shri. Neyveli R. Santhanagopalan and Dr. G Baby Sreeram. Her initial gurus were Smt. Kamala, a relative of Sri. GNB and Smt. Seethalakshmi, faculty of SWARALAYA, K.K.Nagar, Chennai. She then went on to take lessons from Sri. Ajay Namboodiri, a disciple of Sri. Neyveli Santhanagopalan.
She has been performing and teaching Carnatic music for the past 8 years. She plans to pursue a PhD as well, in the near future.
