I've noticed a lot of unusual customs and behaviors that differentiate between the USA and Europe from the perspective of an Irish Girl.

From buying foods and magazines in a pharmacy and seeing aisles and aisles of over-the-counter meds, toys, makeup, clothes, and even groceries! And of course to deep-frying almost anything you can think of. The free refills in america and how much the USA loves their ice has converted me but I don't know that I'll ever get the hang of american sales tax or the american tipping culture. 20%? OMG
