Kajak sailing on Lake Isabella, California, with a Klepper „Wanderzweier“. This particular boat is a pre-series model build in early 1920s in Rosenheim, Germany. It was designed for tests in the water tunnel in Paris, to define the final shape of the "Wanderzweier -series", launched mid 1920s. About 10 years later, the standard commercial model was used by a German fellow (Oskar Speck) to paddle from Germany to Australia. Another guy crossed the Atlantic in the 1950s with a subsequent model... those boats were build to last.
