Updating My Takamine preAmp : Big change !

The 20 years old Graph-EX preAmp in my EN10-12 Takamine was getting tired. Corosion was making it short from time to time, and I have been more and more frustrated when trying to EQ it in my mixes.I am updating it with a more modern Takamine TCP-3 with coolTube technologie (a low voltage tube working to help the piezo pickup to sound a bit more natural).
All the comparaisons are using a flat EQ wich in any case is not very nice, but for the sake of compare is the best way. I had to level match a bit the outputs as adding the tube in gives the volume a bit of a boost.
I used arounf 80% tube in so it is very present but doesn't take aways everything... It sounded like a good balance when i tried. But obviously I'll have to test that later when i try to EQ properly the preamp to a more pleasing sound...
