Well for a new car this issues is pretty serious, if you have a Z06 or ZR1 and quit possibly the stingray you would definitely want to change this on your car. From factory they already have installed for you the seal around the gas filler, with the small hole to let water and spilled gas out, they didnt seem to think about weather or not fuel would seep down to the hot radiator and spark leading to a full fire. In this video my dad explains the world wide issue thas been going on for the Z06 and ZR1, he goes over what the dealership tells you, and what the solution ends up being.
