In this video you will learn more about Anika Nilles, the new Rush touring drummer, who will replace the "irreplaceable" late Rush drummer and lyricist Neil Peart. She was the chosen one by the bassist, vocalist and keyboardist Geddy Lee and the guitarist Alex Lifeson to join them on their tour called “Fifty Something Tour” which starts in 2026 in North America.
The Canadian band will be back on the road for the first time since 2015, when they played their final show with Peart. In the last couple of years Geddy and Alex were part of tribute shows and played some Rush songs live.
