This winter I haven't seen the snow but ten years ago I lived in Sweden where I saw lots of snow. As a challenge, I opened my sketchbook to paint a winter landscape with Zorn's limited palette. I was able to convey the sky and the grass with white, yellow and black. I left the red for the bright lights of traffic.
