We are not such big fans of the VW Group. However, some cars are very successful. For example, the modernized Cupra Leon VZ gets the most out of the MQB Evo platform that is possible. The two-liter turbo engine feels light and easily revs easily, making it very responsive. The mechanical grip of the front axle when braking and entering corners also deserves praise. Traction is good thanks to the VAQ differential. The car has finally functional infotainment and improved interior. The driving position is alright for a hatchback. The chassis setup is clearly done for clean racing lines, for a more fun ride, we would prefer a bit more oversteer-y rear axle.
