NASCAR legend Greg Biffle, his family and others who were killed in a plane crash last month will be honored during a memorial service at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte on Friday.
"A Gathering in Remembrance" will be held for the public. Doors open at 10 a.m. with the service starting at 11 a.m. Tickets are not required. NASCAR will also livestream the event for family and friends who aren't able to attend.
The event remembers the victims of the plane crash: NASCAR legend Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, his children Emma and Ryder, Craig Wadsworth, Dennis Dutton and his son Jack Dutton.
The 55-year-old Biffle was selected by NASCAR as one of its top 75 drivers in history, was a Hall of Fame nominee for the stock car series and drove for 18 years at the top of the sport. He drew headlines last year with tireless humanitarian efforts as a helicopter pilot supplying aid in the devastation left behind by Hurricane Helene. #News #NASCAR #GregBiffle
