SmartReview.com visited the Sony booth at CES 2018 to preview the latest 4K Camcorder lineup for Sony. The newest models are the consumer FDR-AX700, and the pro models HXR-NX80 and PXW-Z90. All share the same basic body, and imaging sensor. The pro models have a handle to hold an external microphone, and have XLR inputs. The PXW-Z90 has an SDI input, and additional codec for easier editing.

Sony has added a 273-point phase detect autofocus system to all 3 models, which now has phase detection for more accurate autofocus.
