Asked a few times in the past, about what exactly changes when you reset a Vauxhall/Opel ECU, so I decided that was time to cover the topic...
So, this reset, is the also called Tech2 reset, virginize, divorced... you name it! But basically, is reset the ECU to a state that you can program it again into another car.
I cover here, the procedure, look at what changes exactly after the reset, etc...
All this is performed on the bench, but the procedure is the same through the OBD.
