This video corresponds to chapter 7.4 in the ORCCA textbook. Note: I was definitely moving a little fast in this one – in my example using the Quadratic Formula (starts at 16:19) I make a blatant algebra error (dropping the square root) at around 20:35 (it also gets flagged in the video), as well as using an unnecessarily complicated approach to solving at around 20:58. I truly apologize for the mistakes! For this problem (x^2 – 6x + 8 = 0), the correct solutions should be 4 and 2, not 5 and 1.
