A three-month deadline has been put in place in Westbury in Johannesburg to combat the gang violence and increased crime there. Police Minister Bheki Cele has deployed a specialised task force to the area following a spate of gang-related shooting incidents over the last few weeks.
The violence has left several people dead and many more wounded.
