This morning, the Fort Worth Police Department, the Fort Worth Fire Department, and approximately 50 first responder agencies from as far north as Frisco all the way down to Waco climbed the towers at City Center in Downtown to honor the fallen who gave the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. A piece of steel from one of the World Trade Centers was present at today’s event. As each first responder finished their climb, they rang a bell in honor of the person they were climbing for. Each first responder climbing today had a lanyard around their neck with the picture and name of a fallen hero from 9/11. #NeverForget #worldtradecenter
