Knights Fund Demining Operation in Ukraine

Over the course of the war in Ukraine, tens of thousands of landmines, improvised explosives, and other potentially explosive devices have contaminated much of the country. These devices and their remnants pose a serious risk to the safety of children and others seeking to return to their homes. The Knights of Columbus, along with the Safe Pathway Group and in partnership with the government of Ukraine, have provided funding to and overseen the training of Ukrainian nationals to locate and deactivate landmines.
