Late Spring Grading and Renovation – Part One
I decided to do a late spring grading and renovation after killing of a lot of Poa Trivialis. In this video, I use several tools including a level lawn, a landscape rake, and a gorilla cart to do the grading and leveling of my yard using a compost and sand mix prior to reseeding. Stay tuned for part two where I get into the seeding process.
Poa Trivialis is most effectively dealt with in the early spring while it is still actively growing. One method is to glyphosate it and reseed or the best way is to sod cut it out and replace it. I chose to not sod cut it out simply because of the costs involved in doing so.
