I decided it was time to try and figure out the wood elves. I took a while to learn how to use them well in 8th edition, and they remained quite fragile. I'm finding it even harder in the old world, especially now that poison is nerfed. So I figured nothing for it but to have a go and see what subtleties I can find out the hard way. Woodies will always be tricky... but a skilled player can get great value out of them. I didn't know what faction I was up against, so naturally it was the blokes with T4 and lots of armour. Tactics and swearing ensued.
Tactical enhancement was the last of a single malt scotch.
