How and when to use Emmener Amener Emporter Apporter in French.
Use the core verbs Mener (to lead) and Porter (to carry) to differentiate what you lead, or what you carry. Then to indicate the destination, the prefixes A- is used when you are going to leave what you are bringing there, EM-, for what you are going to bring back with you.
