here we take a look at one of the most interesting programs in the system by far: the (B) “skip-stop train” to brighton beach. this program was created for the brighton line reconstruction project, which took place from about 2009 to 2011. however, the announcements were never really utilized, since the (B) did not run NTT’s in scheduled service until very recently in the summer of 2025.

these announcements still exist to this day and i managed to record them from a random R211 (B) that was signed up incorrectly.
