Bill Copeland talks about his book Cosmic Swan

@cyberdrax Bill introduces himself and his science-fiction story of a colossal flying creature, a cosmic swan, that is born out the holy Mt. Kailas in southern Tibet. Cosmic swans live and fly between stars in the galaxy. He tells what inspired him to write the story, from his work at NASA where he saw the first images of the marbled Earth that looked like an egg rising over the Moon. The space bird is miles long, and takes flight with the help of its mother cosmic swan that appears over the Earth as a huge blue comet. Just as other cosmic swans, the newborn carries a population of humans in a space habitat on its back. The human population learns to live in its warm, earth like environment and help to protect and maintain their living planet. Bill tells how he would like the story to inspire us to view the Earth as a place for humans to be born and that we have an infinite future in space.
