We took another trip on the Parkway this year (October 2023), and traveled in the opposite direction from the southern terminus at the Oconaluftee Visitors Center in Great Smoky Mountain National Park to the Linn Cove Viaduct. Along the way, we stopped at Looking Glass Falls and Sliding Rock (where a young man was actually sliding in the cold water) and the Switzerland Inn.
We saw an amazing sunrise, sunsets, and Fall color that was just amazing. Come along and we will show you what we found.
