We're all obsessed with FT8 at the moment, but it doesn't have to stop you from rag chewing and Jarrad VK3BL shows how!
Using the RC-28 Remote Encoder and Dual Watch, you can have full control of the Sub Receiver, leaving the Main Receiver dedicated to the rather 'possessive' WSJT-X (actually HamLib).
Its then just a matter of enabling and disabling split whenever you wish to switch between modes - FT8 or Phone!
Its a little more complicated than it sounds, and does require a bit of practice, but we go over the procedure a couple of times here to help get you into the swing of it!
