For Part 2 of our performance testing series, professional test and stunt driver Joe Bacal, takes a brand new Chevrolet Silverado 1500 to Apple Valley Speedway, to showcase the outstanding performance of RAS® RoadActive Suspension.
For years, pickup owners have consistently raved about the superior level of ride quality and handling performance RAS® provides. It is designed to eliminate the compromise between ride comfort and handling ability, which is achieved from the tension coil springs that engage progressive to force applied -- providing the perfect ride quality and handling performance in any situation.
First, we see Joe Bacal driving the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 without any weight in the bed of the truck. As he navigates the racetrack, he comments on t performance and a smooth ride quality after installing RAS®.
Next, we see Joe Bacal driving the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with 1000lbs of weight in the bed of the truck. As he drives around the track, we can see that the vehicle maintains its excellent handling performance and smooth ride quality.
