I don't think I even really need to get into the significance of these elevators. These elevators are well known in the elevator community for being one of the few remaining older Schindler Miconic 10 systems in the United States. From what I understand, there are 2 other known installations remaining: One of which is in Las Vegas, NV and the other is in St. Paul, MN.
As for these, they have held up quite well over the years and seem quite efficient for being older Miconic 10. Older Miconic 10 is known to be quite glitchy and unreliable, but I didn't see that at all on this visit. These are maintained quite well, and they provide a nice ride! I hope these stay around for many more years!
