In this video, we review a variety of classroom management techniques and activity adaptations to maximize language learning in classes of 30 or more students. Large classes can be both rewarding and challenging. They present many opportunities for student collaboration, cooperation and self-directed learning, but also present challenges of control and individualizing feedback. We provide you with ideas to use the opportunities of large language classes while balancing out the challenges.
