I think I desribed my issues pretty well in the video. Im not sure whats normal and whats not, The shifter cables up top need to be replaced but I wanted to make sure it wasnt a bigger issue before doing so. Not sure how extensively I need to dive into the lower unit or if some other tests need to be done first. I noticed that when everything was connected, if I really pushed the shift rod all the way towards the starboard side of the boat (making the rod arm into a V), i could put a lot of pressure on it and make the motor shift out of reverse and into neutral, but it takes alot and the motor never goes into forwards. Thanks!
