So I’ve been using the Chase Ritz Carlton credit card for over a year now, and it’s poised to become my main luxury travel card within my credit card portfolio.

As annual fees have been going up, I’ve been looking to cut back on cards that have overlapping benefits, and once those cards are canceled or the product is changed, this card will end up being my main luxury travel card.

But it wasn’t always this way. It used to just be another Marriott card, but after using it for a year, I began to see how powerful this card can be, and so what changed?
