“Heaven’s Light” has always been a song about longing, innocence, and the fragile hope that love can reach even the most shadowed corners of a life. In The Hunchback of Notre Dame, it’s a moment where a character who has been told he is unworthy dares to imagine that he might still be seen with kindness.
In my music, that theme resonates deeply. So much of what I create lives in the space between vulnerability and resilience—those quiet moments when a person steps out of their own darkness and lets themselves believe in connection again. My interpretation of “Heaven’s Light” isn’t just a cover; it’s a reflection of where I am today as an artist and as a person.
This performance carries the same emotional DNA that runs through my original songs: the desire to rise above old narratives, the courage to hope again, and the belief that even in a complicated world, light still finds its way in. By singing this piece, I’m honoring the idea that tenderness is powerful, that longing can be transformative, and that every voice—no matter its history—deserves to be heard in the light.
