#MyBridgertonScore Had so much fun entering this competition! A bit about my entry. As a major Bridgerton fan, I really wanted to approach this score in a unique and original way. I chose to tap into The Ballroom Scene as my inspiration (for context, Ballroom is an underground Black & Brown Queer subculture that originated in New York City). As the Queen struts in this opening scene, the driving kick and 808s are sprinkled with harpsichord and string riffs. I like to imagine the Queen voguing to this beat. Maybe next season?
It was really fun to marry these seemingly opposite cultures together. Thank you Spitfire Audio & Kris Bowers for such a cool opportunity.
