I walk through memories written in stone, remember the days of long ago, I see Your hand in every road, though I fall I rise again, You stayed faithful through my pain, the past still speaks but it won’t define me, I forget what lies behind and I press on toward what’s ahead, I walk by faith and not by sight, weeping stayed only for the night and joy came with the morning light, You said Your plans are hope and future, not disaster, not fear, I gave You all my broken years and You made my purpose clear, I’m not a slave to yesterday, Your grace rolled every stone away, if You are for me who could stand against, I move forward in confidence, there’s a season for every soul, what was lost You made me whole, what was meant to break my heart You turned to good right from the start, the old has gone the new has come, I am reborn I overcome, the past redeemed the future bright, I walk with You into the light.
