Pope Leo XIV presides over the first Christmas Eve mass of his pontificate at St. Peter's Basilica. During the mass, Leo says "Let us marvel, dear brothers and sisters, at the wisdom of Christmas. In the Child Jesus, God gives the world a new life: his own, offered for all." The mass was attended by high-ranking Church figures, diplomats and around 6,000 faithful.
