Unlike many who deal with addiction, Zach and his family has always been in the recovery field. He grew up with everything he'd ever needed with parents who were very knowledgeable about drugs. Despite his parents owning a treatment center, he went the opposite way and dove into drugs and alcohol. That was his only purpose in life.

The reality is that no one can keep that kind of lifestyle up. He fell on his face in a fortunate turn of events (literally) and ended up in a treatment center. He's been sober ever since, managing the house he got straight in and living a life with something he's always missing: purpose.
