One of the most common procedures I perform. The pain will be mostly a sensation of tightness and pressure. This is due to the muscle spasm associated to an implant under the muscle. I restrict my patients to sleeping only on their back for the first few weeks. It is very uncomfortable to sleep on their sides as well as there is a risk to cause asymmetric swelling and bleeding.
