This video takes you on an odyssey during the 28 year restoration of a classic 1929 Hackercraft triple cockpit runabout. Powered by a V-12 Scripps 302 (890 cubic inch) engine, the Hackercrafts of the 1920's and 1930's were known as the "Steinways" of wooden boats. The scenes of "Misty Lady" were taken in August 2020 on Lake Tahoe. Major restoration was by Weber & Company, Oakland and Northwest Classic Boats in Auburn, California. original Hackercrafts are prized throughout the wooden boat community.
