Girnar, also known as Girinagar or Revatak Parvata, is a group of mountains in the Junagadh District of Gujarat, India, Is considered older than the Himalayas, Girnar the mountain and its range are considered sacred.

Mount Girnar or Girnar Parvat has different charm during monsoon season. I can suggest anyone to visit during Girnar Junagadh during rainy season, you'll feel blessed.

In ancient time, because of volcanic eruption, it made total 5 peaks in mount girnar named,
1. Ambaji
2. Gorakhnath
3. Dattatreya
4. Ogahd Ansuya
5. Kalika

Mount Girnar is widely popular all over the India because sacred Pilgrims where thousands of Hindus and Jains devotees come everyday. During festival of Mahashivratri, millions of peoples are gathering in Girnar Fair. And during Diwali, peoples are joining for 5 days long holy Girnar Parikrama which is 36 kms long.

Gorakhnath, the heighest peak of Girnal Hills is the one on which the footprints of Gorakhnathji, the renowned saint are. Dattatreya peak has a small temple on the footprints of Guru Dattatreya.

There are total 10,000 steps to reach at top of the mountain (Guru Dattatreya Temple). If you coming to Ambaji temple through Ropeway than remaining 5000 steps will take 1.5 hours to time to reach Guru Dattatreya Temple.

Girnar Ropeway was developed by Usha Breco Ltd. in October 2020. One can reach Ambaji temple through Ropeway with ₹630 and returns back to Girnar Taleti.
