Hammer Damage is a band whose roots lie within the Rubber City Rebels and Akron Ohio. From 1976 - 1978 they rocked with a couple of members Dave Zager (Donny Damage) and Mike Hammer. Those gents moved on to the band on display here with a rare set of demos done in 1979.

Recorded at After Dark Studio in 1979 and Mixed / Engineered by Kirk Yano it’s the closest we’ll ever get to a debut album. These recordings somehow never appeared on vinyl and were unreleased until 2006 when the band began sending out copies to people who asked for it on their MySpace page. It contains perhaps the best cover of Love Me Two Times by The Doors, and some absolute rock and roll gems. I hope you all enjoy and until next time!
