This video shows the process of soldering a 0.4mm pitch slimstack connector using a hot air gun and a soldering iron. The individual steps are being explained in text form as they take place. The PCB is for a prototype, hence the need for manual soldering. I hope it helps somebody facing a similarly challenging hand assembly job.
