This video is a full, minimally edited IFR flight from Pontiac, Michigan (KPTK) to Jackson, Michigan (KJXN) in the Cirrus SR22 G7, flown in actual IMC.
If you’ve ever wanted to experience what a real IFR flight is like — the workload, the radio calls, the pacing — this one is for you. There’s very little editing here by design, so you can follow along through clearances, enroute flying, and a full ILS approach exactly as it happened.
This flight is about realism, not highlights... Whether you’re a pilot, instrument student, or just curious about flying in the clouds, this is an authentic look at IFR flying in the real world.
⚠️ This video is not intended as flight instruction. I’m not a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI). Footage is presented for entertainment and realism, and all flights are conducted using proper checklists and standard safety procedures.
