Within the past two weeks, Entravision rebranded all their Spanish-language news operations to remove Univision branding and go to a more generic on-air brand and look. Most of the station's Facebook pages had already been rebranded to the same. My guess is that the company is trying to distance the newscasts from Univision and create a more "SEO-friendly" online brand, and apply that to the TV product as well. I doubt this is foreshadowing any tension between the network and Entravision, simply because Entravision has long been Univision's largest group, and Univision itself is a minority shareholder in Entravision.

The Entravision stations for the most part, until now, had simply utilized the graphics and music packages as supplied by the Univision network. They've also deviated from what the network has used on its O&Os at least for music over the years, with many Entravision stations opting for Stephen Arnold packages in the 2000s while the O&Os used a theme called "Turning Point". Eventually, Entravision fell into line when the 2006 network theme debuted, and again when the 2010 one debuted. Then about ten years later, the Entravision group opted for production music while the network commissioned a new theme. Eventually, the Entravision stations picked that theme up but used a blue version of the network's graphics as opposed to navy. Still though, for the most part these stations didn't look too different from the O&Os. That all changed with this new branding.

Graphics are an unknown package, but would not surprise me if the elements came from Envato. Music is a new custom theme from an unknown composer.
