Custom Commander Ability: Red Comet (Sub-Force Commander Only)
Game Rules
Only a Veteran or better MechWarrior named "Char Aznable" may use this Commander Ability.

Multiply the Walking MP and Jumping MP of Char Aznable's 'Mech by 3 (recalculating Running MP accordingly). All subordinates within Char's Sub-Force multiply their Walking/Cruising/Safe Thrust and, if applicable, Jumping MP by 1.5, rounding normally (recalculating Running/Flanking/Max Thrust MP accordingly).

If Char has line of sight with a MechWarrior, pilot, crew, or platoon commander hailing from the Zabi family, and no other allied units have line of sight on Char, he must declare an attack against the Zabi. This attack must use all weapons that give the highest potential combined damage without overheating.

If the Force Commander fails any skill roll with a difficulty of 5 or less, roll 1d6. If the result is 6, during the End Phase Char refuses the Force Commander and takes control for himself. The entire force benefits from the Red Comet Commander Ability, but loses access to any abilities and bonuses conferred by the Force Commander. Char will relinquish control if the Force Commander succeeds any skill roll with a difficulty of 11 or greater.

If Char Aznable ever has line of sight on a 'Mech piloted by a Veteran or better MechWarrior named Amuro Ray, the two automatically engage each other in a duel. Use the rules of Zellbrigen, assuming both MechWarriors are observing Honor Level 3 (Total Warfare p. 274).
